Welcome to Dementia Friendly Worthing and Adur

Worthing Dementia Action Alliance has developed this resource to encourage a safer and more rewarding environment for people with dementia, their carers and families, in which to live, work and visit.

Due to the Coronavirus, we are constantly updating providers’ services but we, unfortunately, have to let you know that the day services for people with dementia, especially those over 70, have now been suspended until this crisis has passed.

There is online support from a number of charities including Alzheimer’s’ Dementia Connect https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/dementiaconnect and Dementia UK https://www.dementiauk.org/ and we have more numbers on our information page.

We will continue to battle for new diagnosis and support but in the meantime, and as everyday things we all take for granted are being restricted, we will try and give you as much help online as we can.

Email and phone number for our part-time co-ordinator can be found here https://www.dementiafriendlyworthing.org/contact-us
