Live Well Day Worthing

On Wednesday 16 May 2018, Worthing Leisure Centre will host a Live Well Day for people over 50+.

The event will be held at the Shaftesbury Road site Worthing where there is plenty of free parking. The day, organised by South Downs Leisure, in partnership with Dementia Friendly Worthing; the Alzheimer’s Society, and Adur and Worthing Wellbeing. The idea is to introduce new activities and encourage people to try things they may not have thought have doing for some years. The event is open to carers and also people who have been affected by dementia and their support network.

There will be a host of activities on offer between 12 noon and 4 pm with professional coaches to help with Yoga, Pilates, Table Tennis, Walking Football, Barre Fusion, Showtime Dance as well as the chance to have a Wellbeing MOT or a relaxed Audiology assessment.

South Downs Leisure offer a number of specific activities for the over 50’s including walking football, walking netball and even community gardening. Find out more during the afternoon or pop in to the Phoenix Club
