FOR CARERS

Worthing Wellbeing and Recovery Service

We offer a range of support groups, personal development courses, information sessions and social opportunities as well as one to one work with Recovery Workers and trained peer mentors.

Our aim is support people on their recovery journey and may include:

We work in partnership with people who use our services and other local agencies. Partner organisations include health and social care professionals from the voluntary sector, primary and secondary care services.

We can help people who have mental health support needs, aged between 18 and 65, who live in West Sussex. We do not work with people who have an organic mental illness (such as dementia) although we would support their carers if they have mental health support needs. We do not offer medical help or therapy; we can let you know which organisations do.

You can access our support easily. You, or someone on your behalf, can ring or email us.

We may be able to offer help or information over the phone, but it is more likely we will suggest a meeting to look at options together.

Free of charge although a voluntary charge is made for refreshments and some activities.
